There are
several ways detailed below. See what fits you best.
CONSIDER MAKING A FINANCIAL DONATION
TO HELP US

donate.
You may also simply
email us and we will send a donation form to
you, which you may return to us for processing with
either a check or credit card information.
As Cypress Cares is purely a volunteer
effort, we rely solely on your financial and in-kind
contributions to keep working. Please consider
making a monetary donation directly to Cypress
Cares, either via the Pay Pal link above, or by
mailing a check payable to Cypress Cares to the
address listed.
As you make your
contribution, consider that we shipped over 1,400 packages in 2010 alone, at a cost of more than
$27,000.
Financial donations received are used to help
augment the in-kind donations for our packages and
to offset the
mailing and advertising expenses, which far
exceed the amount of financial donations.
Cypress Cares is an IRS recognized, 501c3,
non-profit organization. All contributions made to
our effort qualify as tax deductible donations.
Please keep a copy of your cancelled check as proof
of your financial contribution, and keep a detailed
list of your in-kind donations as well. A copy
of our IRS determination letter can be supplied upon
your request. Donations in excess of $250 will
receive a receipt and letter acknowledging the
contribution, shortly after they are received.
Many companies will offer incentive programs,
matching employees financial contributions to
non-profit organizations. Please check with
your employer to see if they participate in such a
program. Some
employers offer either a Matching Gift program
or a Volunteer Incentive Program in which the
company will make a contribution to an organization
of the employees choice, in exchange for the
employees volunter time with that organization. This is an easy way to
increase your contribution to our effort at no
additional expense to youself.
Support Cypress Cares while
shopping at Randall's and at Kroger!
If you
do your grocery shopping at either Kroger or
Randall's,
please consider "linking" your store card to Cypress
Cares. At the
Randalls/Tom Thumb/Simon David
stores you only need to visit customer service and
tell them you'd like your
Remarkable/Reward Card
linked to organization #12476.
For
Kroger,
you need to go to the
Kroger Neighbor to
Neighbor
website and search for Cypress Cares. There is a
page you must print out and take to the store for
scanning. YOU MUST DO THIS ANNUALLY to have your
card linked to us at Kroger!
This is a simple and effective way to help support the
effort without spending any more than you were
already planning to spend on your groceries!
Support
Cypress Cares while you shop on-line!
Before
you do your online shopping, check out our new link
on
iShoptoDonate. Participating merchants,
including WalMart, Current, Barnes &
Noble and my personal favorite,
Amazon.com just to name a few, will
donate a percentage of your purchase amount to
Cypress Cares. What a great way to help support our
effort while still doing the shopping you had
already planned.

There is even a link on the page to
coupons.com. Everyday that you go through our page
to coupons.com, Cypress Cares will earn $.35. If
even 10 of our supporters do this on a daily basis,
that will mean over $300 donated to Cypress Cares
each month, just for cutting coupons! How much
easier can it be?
SPONSOR A BOX!!
We will mail a box
directly to a service member FROM YOU!
For $75 ($13 will pay for shipping and the remaining
money will purchase items for the package), Cypress
Cares will fill a package with healthy
snack foods, a magazine, a devotional book (unless
you request to not have this item), shaving supplies
and a CD or DVD. We will ship the package,
from you, to a service member on our mailing list. A
note will be included in the package to let the
recipient know who sponored his/her box. Simply
contact us to begin the process!
As a special touch to this package,
email a photo of your family to us so that we may
include it in the package and the service member can
actually SEE who sent the love.
